Health and Care Worker Visa

For qualified doctors, nurses, health professionals or adult social care professionals who have been offered a job in the UK's health and social care sector.

Global Talent Visa

For highly skilled and talented individuals in the fields of academia/research, arts/culture, and digital technology to contribute to the UK economy. 

One of only a few visas leading to settlement after just 3 years.

Spouse, Partner and Fiance Visa

For individuals who have a settled or British spouse or partner in the UK. The fiancé(e) visa is for couples who are planning to get married or enter into a civil partnership in the UK. Normally leads to settlement between 3-5 years.

High Potential Individual Visa

For international graduates who have within the last 5 years obtained a degree-level qualification from a university on the Global Universities List.

Indefinite Leave to Remain

For those who have been in the UK for the required period of time, depending on their immigration route. It is a type of permanent residence status that allows you to live and work in the UK without any time restrictions (also known as settlement).

British Citizenship

For those who are directly eligible or have been settled for the necessary period, naturalisation is the process by which a person becomes a British citizen.

Ancestry Visa

For Commonwealth citizens over 17 whose grandparents' were born in the UK, Channel Islands or the Isle of Man. A less common route but one which leads to settlement after 5 years.

Schengen Visa

For individuals who want to travel within the Schengen area for tourism or business. Currently includes 29 European countries that have mutually eliminated border controls among themselves.

EU Settlement Scheme

For European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA) and Swiss citizens to continue living in the UK following the Brexit transition period on 31 December 2020. The Scheme remains open for late applications.
